Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED TO JOIN?

We require 2 full years driving experience with a class A license in the past 3 years. Six months of recent flatbed or reefer experience is preferred.

WHAT DOES AFC TRANSPORT HAUL?

We are a flatbed and reefer company. Primarily we haul steel (coils, flat, pipe), building materials (lumber, shingles), equipment, machinery and refrigerated goods.

WHAT IS AFC’S RIDER POLICY?

Riders must be at least 12 years of age. Rider Insurance fee will apply.

WHAT IS THE PET POLICY?

One pet is allowed. Pet Deposit Required

WHAT ARE AFC’S RUNNING AREAS?

We run the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast primarily.
For Flatbed we offer Over the Road, Northeast Regional, Southeast Regional routes.
Our Reefer Division runs primarily in the Northeast.

WHAT IS THE PAY FOR LEASE PURCHASE AND OWNER OPERATORS?

Contractors are paid 75% of gross revenue. Average yearly gross is $270k.

WHAT KIND OF TRUCKS ARE AVAILABLE FOR LEASE?

We have several models of trucks available. 2014-2022, Peterbilt, Kenworth, and Freightliner.

ARE LEASE PURCHASE TRUCKS GOVERNED?

Yes, lease purchase trucks will be governed to 70 mph until the truck is paid off.

IS FLATBED SECUREMENT EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE?

Yes, flatbed equipment can be purchased through us, if needed. Payment options available.

HOW MUCH ARE TRUCK PAYMENTS?

Payments range from $775-$875 weekly depending on the year, make, and model of your truck.

DO YOU HAVE TRAILERS AVAILABLE?

Yes, we have flatbeds and reefer trailers available for rent.
